Kathy Pecar Lightbody and Donna Gundle-Krieg of DEK Realty will talk about the housing market in Mancelona, and what this means for the community, home sellers and buyers. We will review strategies for pricing and preparing your home for sale, as well as what to expect once you sign the listing agreement. We will also review strategies for buyers to prepare for what is likely the biggest investment of their lives.

Kathy Pecar Lightbody is a 1984 graduate of Mancelona High School, who returned to Northern Michigan in 2020 after 35 years in metro Detroit. She has 35+ years of sales, marketing and event-planning experience at Pecar Electronics, Crain Communications’ Automotive News, and as chairman of the non-profit EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition. Kathy’s passion for real estate has grown through the ownership and management of numerous multi-family homes in Grosse Pointe, a 28-unit apartment building in midtown Detroit, and a vacation rental property at Shanty Creek Resort in northern Michigan.
