 Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - We offer no-cost consuling services. Our mission is to help Michigan small businesses succeed. 

Northern Lakes Economics Alliance (NLEA) - Our mission is to enhance the economy in our four-county service area by acting as a resource to help communities and entrepreneurs retain and create quality jobs in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan and Emmet Counties. Grant admin, program support, business attraction and growth.

Networks Northwest - Networks Northwest delivers programs and services for the 10 counties of Northwest Michigan. Our primary service categories are: workforce development; business & economic development; and community development. Networks Northwest is the convening agency for the Regional Prosperity Initiative in these ten counties.

Michigan Works! - Your regional Michigan Works! offices offer a variety of services and programs to help employers attract and recruit the best qualified candidates and meet their demands for a skilled workforce. Michigan Works! services are provided generally at no cost.

Venture North - Affordable loans, mini grants, professional business consulting. We're easy to like. We've helped 1,500 small business in Northwest Michigan.

Michigan Economic Development Corporation - The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, in collaboration with more than 100 economic development partners, markets Michigan as the place to do business, assists businesses in their growth strategies, and fosters the growth of vibrant communities across the state.

Small Business Association of Michigan - SBAM - The Small Business Association of Michigan is the only statewide and state-based association that focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small business community. We have been successfully serving small businesses like yours in all 83 counties of Michigan since 1969. We’re located in Lansing, just one block from the Capitol.

State of Michigan Business Assistance - Find helpful information on starting a business, technology assistance, and obtaining permits and licenses, as well as other resources for business success in Michigan.

Antrim County Clerk - The County Clerk's office keeps record of business names filed in Antrim County.  Although it is not required for running a business in the state and conveys no tax or business license number, filing a DBA form protects the business name from being used by anyone else, but only the county in which the form is filed.  

SCORE Traverse City -  SCORE’s mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education.  We aim to give every person the support they need to thrive as a small business owner.
