One of the county's smallest, quaint villages is holding a Sidewalk Sale Labor Day weekend, Friday August 30 through Sunday, September 1, 2019. The sidewalk sales are open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All stores in downtown Alden are participating. Come walk through this beautiful community,
It's almost September! We know it's a little ways away yet, but before we know it, the 65th annual Mancelona Buck Pole will be here. Set for November 15 & 16, 2019 downtown (at the traffic light), the Buck Pole has become a long-running signature event of Mancelona Chamber of Commerce.
Right now we're working on raffle prizes, sponsorship, and getting prizes together for participating hunters.

Mancelona Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of several informative, educational workshops that will be offered to its membership, at no charge. Each workshop will have a different topic and presenter.
Our first workshop is scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mancelona Township Offices.

Once again, Mancelona Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring outdoor music concerts. There is no charge to attend. Concerts are open to the public. Each concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at approximately 8:30 p.m. All are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Concerts will be held in Triangle Park (corner of U.S. 131 and M-88 (State Street) near the traffic light. In case of rain, concerts will be moved to the Buck Pole corner under the Farmers Market pavilion. In the event of extreme and dangerous weather including lightning, the concert will be cancelled or rescheduled.
