This Update: Thurs Jan 31, 2008 at 6:30 a.m.

WEATHER conditions: We had significant rainfall Tuesday night, which turned to all snow and treacherous conditions on Wednesday. This morning (Thursday) It is snowing lightly here in Mancelona, and a quiet (but bitterly cold) weather day is expected. Another storm moves in tonight, but at this time, the Antrim County area appears to be on the lower end for accumulation. For weather details, visit 9 & 10 News Weather.

From John the Groomer: The base ranges in depth from 3' to 10' and survived. The snow and falling temps came too fast to completely refreeze the base, so it is slushy in spots. The Tonka was on the connector Wednesday, but the 8120 had mechanical problems and they couldn't get it running. We hope to have another update for you before Friday.
